Ghost of Tsushima How to start the IKI island
The expansion Iki Island is the star of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, and so start it. You can not access the DLC until you reach a specific point in main history, and you stay on the island until you reach a specific point in the extension. Luckily, however, unlocking the extension is quite simple and takes only a few minutes as long as they are far enough in the main story. So start the extension Iki Island in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.
How to start the IKI island extension in Ghost of Tsushima
To start the extension Iki Island, you must first reach Act 2 of the main history of Ghost of Tsushima. Once you have arrived at the beginning of Act 2 in the Toyotama region, you can always go to Iki Island at any time. If you have reached this point, press Options and navigate to your journal. Find Tales of Iki and pursue the first quest called Journey into the past. This is the quest that leads you to Iki.
Journey in the Past commissions you with the investigation of a settlement that has suffered a disturbing Destiny. It is located on the coast of Toyotama. Once you arrive, you need to inspect the environment and deal with some Mongols. You will also get to know shamans, a new fine type that will be presented in the extension.
After eliminating the Mongols, you will find out that you came from the island of Iki and follow someone named eagle. Now you can visit Iki and start the DLC. As soon as you go to Iki Island, you can not return until you have completed most Story missions for the extension. However, IKI Island DLC takes only a few hours so that they should not be separated too long by Tsushima.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is now available for PS4 and PS5.
