This week premieres in Eternals cinemas, the new film of cinematographic universe of Marvel directed by Chloe Zhao and starring Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumil Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Lia Mchugh and Don Lee.

Although the eternal are part of the most cosmic marvel, it has been chosen to develop the film on earth instead of showing us the rest of the universe as in guardianes of the galaxy. The producer of the film Nate Moore explained why this decision was made, also clarifying that the heroes we know in eternals are even more cosmic than in the original comics.

Even in the comics, I would say that they are much more terrocious because they were created by humanity… so in fact we are making them more cosmic than they are traditionally in the vignettes, Moore explained.

Narratively, I think this juxtaposition is very powerful when making the film on Earth, although it does not mean that the whole movie passes on Earth, the producer continued. It allows us to compare things that are very early today and normal for people with heavenly and spacecraft, who are very science fiction, without having to commit ourselves with any.

I think there is a bit of the best of the two worlds, and makes the movie differentiate from other things because it s not just one thing

We already know that Eternals develops in two different temporary periods, showing us the arrival of these heroes to Earth and also their lives today as they try to protect it. Taking into account that part of the weight of the film is in the group s relationship with human beings, it makes sense that most of the story takes place on our planet.

Although it develops on our planet, it is also expected that eternals explore more than the cosmic facet of the UCM by showing more about celestial and deviations, and even other planets.
