It’s always nice to stand out from the crowd in a game, and Infinity Ward made a new addition to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare it will allow you to do exactly that. The standard clan tag will appear in white, but there is a way to replace it with a yellow / gold color instead.

The first thing you will need is a clan, called in the game a regiment. To set up a regiment, go to the social menu, then on the Regiments tab. Here you will find three options. You can create a regiment, manage an existing regiment or join 1. Choose the option that suits you best. You do not need to have total control of a regiment to change the color of your clan tag.

Once done, go to the multiplayer menu and select the barrack option. Navigate to identity and choose “Clan Tag”. Select the clan label of your regiment and you can change it in yellow / gold.

If you want to change color, you will need a mouse and keyboard to connect to your console. To change color, follow these steps:

• Connect your mouse and keyboard to your console. From there, do not use your joystick with the game
• Navigate to the Regiment tab and create a new regiment
• Type the name of the regiment

• For the Regiment tag, type a tag not exceeding 3 letters.
• Start the tag with one of the codes below to appear as a different color

You can get different colors by starting your clan tag with the following:

• ^ 0 – Black
• ^ 1 – Red
• ^ 2 – Green
• ^ 3 – Yellow
• ^ 4 – Blue
• ^ 5 – Light blue
• ^ 6 – Purple
• ^ 7 – White
