Lego Star Wars: How to activate the mumble

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has a complete voice output, but there is an optional mumble mode for fans who feel nostalgic for a simpler time. The original Lego Star Wars games are probably what has driven Lego games to the insane heights in which they are now, and these games had no language output at all. Instead, the characters played iconic scenes from each film with simple grunts and marbles.

You can mimize that with Mumble mode in The Skywalker Saga, but unfortunately it is not quite the same. This is how it works Disable the voice output and enable Mumble mode in Lego Star Wars: The SkyWalker saga.

How to activate MUMBLE mode in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

Voice Acting vs Mumbling in LEGO Games & The Skywalker Saga
Mumble mode can be activated in the Extras menu of the game. Just open the HoloProjector (not the pause menu), navigate to the Tools tab, and then select the “Data Card” section. Here you can buy cheats and modifiers such as stud multipliers and retro mode, but the MUMBLE mode is unlocked by default from the beginning. You will find it approximately in the middle of the list of extras.

Once you have activated and enabled the check box, Mumble mode replaces all spoken dialogs in the game through generic grunts and marbles, just as in the original Lego Star Wars-Games. You still see the subtitles for everyone who speaks, so they do not miss dialogues or jokes.

Unfortunately, the intermediate sequences of the game are not designed for marbles so that the physical comedy aspect suffers a little underneath. However, it is still a great callback to the original games, and those who are nostalgic for a simpler time can turn it on from the beginning. However, if you decide to hear the spoken dialog, you can deactivate MUMBLE mode at any time in the Extras menu.

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch.
