BVB wants to remain Bayern hunters: there is no second place

Coach Marco Rose from Borussia Dortmund does not want to put up with the role of the failing challenger in the Bundesliga in the long run. “There is no second place. You don’t want to get used to it, this is important and is simply part of it,” said Rose on Friday before the home game against VfL Bochum on Saturday (3:30 p.m.).

That makes it “not easier because expectations are enormous,” emphasized Rose. “But nothing should change in the requirements. We want to align ourselves so that we have a chance to attack at the top.”

Against Bochum, Emre can yellow, Axel Witsel is after an infection “Another option”, the same applies to Felix Passlack. The ankle problems with striker Erling Haaland “we now have a good grip,” said Rose.

The coach demands the highest concentration from his team in the last games of the season, although there are no concrete goals: “If we let go, I will jump in and be there. I don’t have the impression that the air is out.”

Rose certified the small neighbor Bochum an “excellent work for years. They play an excellent round, especially at home they are a power. They beat Bayern 4: 1 and deserve the class.”
